It's because I'm my father's daughter that I'm cracking back into two. Watching him do puzzle-after-puzzle with Maddie, sneaking outside for his regular smokes, he wants what's best for his daughter who's bored in her own life.
I wasn't before, but I'm starting to suspect I am now. I'm sure I used to be graceful as I avoided doing laundry, watched too much MSNBC news, and strived to get to the library so my writing would remain true.
And now ALL systems are breaking down, unless I submit my soul yet again, playing sacrificial lamb. Everyone wants someone to be the problem, um, does it get to be all about me AGAIN?
Swell.
