Some Shorter Prose

There's a strange chasm between poetry and prose, and to be honest, I'm not sure how to explain it. Poetry probably doesn't know how to explain it to prose either, so at least we know they'll be found in the same ballpark debating each other.

I'd expect myself to be bowled over by the fact that poetry even wants to debate prose in the first place, but I never sit in that. I should, because it'd be fun and exciting, but I guess I just like plain humanity too much to mess with that. Plain humanity, as opposed to prose and poetry, well, plain humanity never goes on stage.

It's plain humanity that I always concentrate on, because prose and poetry are so bright, I don't want to be distracted. That surprises me about even myself, because what kind of fool wouldn't bask in the fact of prose and poetry being so shiny, like a crinkled nose out of nowhere?

I forgot what I was saying, sorry for being short like that.
